The Ballads and Romances is a successful illustration of how history could be translated into contemporary and playful design. I thought the bed with high mattress was ideal for unwinding after a long day of walking around the city. The historical building breathes romance and charm, creating the perfect atmosphere for couples. The premises also house a beautiful spa, ideal for romantic relaxation. One might like to know that the rooms are quite small, but the flooding natural light, pastel colours and ingenious use of space make it feel larger. Furthermore, Malá Strana can get quite touristy, especially during the daytime. Evenings are less hectic and perfect for a romantic walk along the Neruda Street.
