Alto Spots

Bottoms up at Le Troquet Bar

Have a traditional French pub experience at Le Troquet. Think good, filling food at cheap prices, accompanied by high quality alcohol. We particularly like the atmospheric industrial interior design!

Get your credit cards ready for shopping on Mariahilfe Strasse

Start at one end and work your way down Vienna’s longest and liveliest shopping street. You should also take some time to venture into the side streets, where you can find more unusual boutique shops.

Have a chilled afternoon at Phil Café

This cute café-cum-bookshop is the perfect spot to escape the tourists and while away a few hours with a good book, good coffee, and good vibes. In the evenings they also stick on some vinyl records, which adds to the charming ambience.

Spend an afternoon ambling around the Museumsquartier

60,000 square metres of jaw-dropping museums, galleries, and cafes, housed inside four imperial stables. Sound amazing? It is.

Flea market at Neubaugasse

The first flea market here took place in 1983 and it continues to be held twice a year. It is a great place to pick up authentic gifts, as it is characterised by family-owned stalls and hand-made goods.

Come to LeBurger for the best burgers in Vienna

Their delicious juicy burgers are made with fresh ingredients, meaning you don’t feel so greasy and guilty after devouring one! We were particularly impressed with the succulent and flavoursome vegetarian burgers.

Samantha Love

Art enthusiasts will fall in love with this quirky apartment. There are interesting design features wherever you look, including quirky light fittings, colourful patchwork furnishings, and vibrant contemporary paintings – I particularly like the cow statue in the kitchen!

Adding to its appeal, the apartment is fully equipped with all your home comforts, such as flat-screen TV, modern kitchen with coffee machine, and a high pressure shower which will soothe your muscles at the end of the day.
