Introducing Coverage Areas in AltoCore: A Smarter Way to Manage Where You Operate

Written by Julia Kichigina | Aug 4, 2026, 5:00:00 AM

Hospitality partners are constantly balancing broad coverage with accurate availability. Until now, managing your service areas in AltoCore meant adding locations one by one, including smaller towns and surrounding areas, just to make sure you could receive relevant housing requests.

With the new Coverage Areas feature, managing your operating footprint is now simpler and more precise.

Your coverage, mapped the way you actually operate

Instead of listing every surrounding town one by one, you can now set a service radius per location, up to 50 miles, in miles or kilometres, and let that radius do the work. A single setting around a major city now covers all the smaller towns nearby, automatically.

It works just as well in the other direction: if you're a Setup company that only serves a five-mile radius around your office, you can define that precise range rather than being tied to a broader location that doesn't reflect how you actually operate.

The result is simple: you receive requests that match the areas you genuinely serve, and far less back-and-forth over locations you don't.

How to update your Coverage Areas in AltoCore

Updating your coverage is simple:

  1. Log in to AltoCore and open the Coverage Areas.
  2. Review your locations, organised by region, country, and state.
  3. Select a location and click Edit Radius.
  4. Set your service area by dragging the radius on the map or entering a specific value in the number field (up to 50 miles or kilometres).
  5. Review the preview and confirm your updated coverage.
  6. Turn on the Core toggle for any location where you hold core inventory to be recognised as a Tier 1 partner.

Once updated, your coverage information will be reflected across AltoCore, helping ensure sourcing teams can better understand where you operate.

Built for growing portfolios

As your locations grow, so does the complexity of managing them. Coverage Areas organises everything by region, country, and state, with property counts at each level, so you can see your full footprint at a glance and manage it as a portfolio.

What this means for our sourcing teams

The benefits run both ways. Our sourcing team can now see supplier radiuses and tiers directly within the sourcing flow, which means faster, more precise matching when we're placing housing requests.
