Alto Spots

Feel swanky at Vinohrady

Enjoy walking around what is known as Prague’s most elegant district. The Vinohrady area is a home to art nouveau buildings, myriads of homely cafés and trendy restaurants.

Church of the Most Sacred Heart of our Lord: Prague’s quirkiest church

Looking rather like a huge bed, this eccentric creation invites further exploration. The soothing interior contrasts with the bustle outside.

Add this quintessential summer haunt to your must-sees

Unwind with friends at the Rieger Gardens and an ice-cool beer. Before you leave, don’t miss sunset over the Castle, from the nearby viewpoint.

Sweet and Pepper Days

A perfect place for a quick lunch or afternoon munchies, this French-styled café offers all sorts of delights from homemade soups, artisanal coffee, cakes or a glass of prosecco.

An artful evening at the art-nouveau Municipal Hall

Fresh from the Tylak Farmers market

Where else to look for fresh fruits and homemade pastries? Walk around the stalls and sample from the traditional Czech delights.

Aleksandra Slusar

I would recommend this apartment to business tavellers coming to Prague on an assignment, be it for a couple of weeks or months. The location is very central, yet off the main touristic streets, which makes you feel as a local. The apartment itself is newly-furnished and bright. My favourite spot is the little balcony overlooking the courtyard, perfect for relaxation with a glass of wine. The location is amongst the most popular ones in Prague, yet it isn't expensive. There is plenty to explore in the area, including nice bars, breweries and restaurants.
