Treat you family to a rustic stay in this unique home. Housed within an 1850s building that used to be part of Sacramento convent, the wooden beams that encase the living room hold centuries of secrets. The warm terracotta colours and wooden beams create an inviting and cosy atmosphere in the living room, which perfectly contrasts the bright and modern appearance of the rest of this fully-equipped home.

Alto Spots

Indulge in a classy night at Silk Club

Have an unforgettable evening at Lisbon’s most exclusive restaurant/bar, serving up sushi, steaks, and delicious cocktails. It is found on the top-floor of a listed building, meaning you can enjoy a panoramic view over the city whichever way you turn. We love the low ambient lighting, which allows you to fully appreciate the changing light outside as the city transitions through dusk into night.

Sample delicious pastries and bread at Mesa Com Pao

Hide from the midday sun with a stop at this cute bakery, where you can revive yourself with aromatic bread and melt in the mouth pastries. The artisanal dessert counter is guaranteed to have your mouth-watering and your belly rumbling!

Shop till you drop at the Rua Garrett

Shopaholics must not miss the chance to explore the most fashionable street in Lisbon. With its beautiful mosaicked pavements and romantic buildings, you won’t just be admiring the window displays.

Dinner at the Palacio Chiado Food Hall

Be amazed by the Renaissance décor of this fantastic eatery; it’s worth a stop simply to ogle the impressive interiors. Whatever you’re in the mood for you’ll find satisfaction here – their varied menu spans mouth-watering burgers, exotic salads, and flavoursome sushi.

Discover the history of the Convento do Carmo

Take a stroll through the picturesque ruins of this white-stone Roman Catholic convent, which dates back to the 14th century. Despite being damaged by the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, it retains the aura of its previous splendour thanks to the imposing gothic architecture. Enjoy an informative afternoon learning about the dramatic events that took place within its walls.

Retro shopping at A Vida Portuguesa

Step back in time when you visit this concept store, dedicated to the celebration of historic Portuguese products and manufacturing. Their mission is to pass on items that hold stories, and reflect the soul and history of Portugal. Make sure you come here to pick up meaningful souvenirs that you’ll treasure for years to come.

Samantha Love

Interesting design details will enchant you as explore the rooms of this gorgeous apartment, ranging from delicate artwork to contemporary light-fittings and rustic wooden beams. My favourite area is the gorgeous living space, which is flooded with natural light and filled with comfortable yet stylish furnishings. The apartment is incredibly spacious and features two beautiful and bright bedrooms, making it a great option for families coming to Lisbon.

Despite the rustic design of the main living area, the apartment is fully equipped with all your modern home comforts such as clothes washing and drying facilities; dishwasher; coffee machine; and even a juice squeezer so you can enjoy freshly squeezed juice in the morning! Guests with accessibility concerns are advised that the apartment is on the first floor of a building without an elevator.
