This traditional English house is a wonderful place to stay. With three comfortable bedrooms and a spacious sitting room, as well as a small study area for those travelling for business, this is the ideal house regardless of your reason to visit London. Located in charming Battersea, you are close to the river and to Battersea Park, both wonderful places to relax and step back from the hustle and bustle of London life. There are delicious restaurants and some great shops on your doorstep too! This London apartment is fit for long stay.
The Space:
This house is fully equipped with everything that you need for your stay.
The ground floor features the spacious, traditional sitting room and small study. The bright and well equipped kitchen is perfect for nights in, with everything you need to prepare a meal. On sunny mornings and evenings you can enjoy the quiet patio with coffee or a cocktail. Spaces like these are hard to come by in the chaos of London, so make sure to enjoy it!
This London three bedrooms are both comfortable and cosy. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, whilst the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire house, except for some cupboards which may be locked.
Interaction with Guests:
I am available by phone, email, text and in person if needed.
The Neighborhood:
Battersea is a thriving area in south west London with one of London’s most beautiful parks and just across the river from Chelsea. With the arrival of the new US Embassy, various riverside developments and the Northern Line extension, Battersea has fast become one of London’s most popular areas to live in. Attracting young professionals and families alike, due to its proximity to central London, Battersea is a buzzy and exciting place to be. Local gastropubs all within a 5-10 min walk of the house include The Woodman (Battersea High St), The Lighthouse (Battersea Park Road), The Latchmere (Battersea Park Road), Fox and Hounds (Latchmere Road). For a taste of Italy, try L’Antipasto on Battersea Park Rd. Bariloche is an Argentinian steakhouse on Battersea High Street. Queenwood is a popular bistro well worth a visit on Battersea Square. Nearby Northcote Rd has many more options for restaurants and pubs, meaning you can easily stay local if you wish. Battersea Park is a beautiful large, open green space with a children’s zoo, lake, cafe and regular events and is just a mere 10min walk from the house. Battersea Square is equally as close and offers all manner of cafes, delis, bistros and a buzzy atmosphere. Popular Northcote Rd is 10min walk in the other direction, passing Clapham Junction and has a weekend market. Supermarkets nearby include Tesco Express on Falcon Rd, Sainsbury’s Local on Battersea Park Rd, Waitrose, Whole Foods, Asda and Lidl are all a 10min walk away near Clapham Junction.
Getting Around:
Clapham Junction train station (London overground and mainline, Gatwick Express) – 5min walk away with trains to Waterloo or Victoria every few minutes.
There are numerous bus routes nearby, including:

Please note that we provide shampoo, shower gel, soap and loo roll for the beginning of your stay and not for the entire duration.

Please keep in mind that each home is unique – as you are staying at someone else’s home and not a hotel, the space and amenities will be different at each place. Please treat the home with the respect that you would treat your own, we dedicate a lot of time and care to it, so please respect the rules, the space and the neighbours. We would really appreciate if you tell us about any damage or breakages so that we can deal with these issues as soon as they arise.

Please note that if your stay is longer than 2 weeks we will require a mid-stay clean at an additional cost of £15 per hour, minimum two hours (to be charged after the booking is confirmed). A linen change can also be arranged at an extra cost.
If you require more cleans please let us know as this can also be arranged.

Please note the property will be prepared by our professional cleaners, using hired hotel-quality linen to prepare the beds. This also includes clean towels, bath mat and a kitchen cloth.

Please note that check-in is between 1pm and 6pm.
A self-check-in outside of these times can be agreed on occasion, but please check prior to booking if you will be checking in outside check in hours.

A late check-out is sometimes possible for a fee of 50% of the nightly rate.
