The Strahov Monastery houses a must-see baroque library from the 18th century. The Philosophy hall has stunning carved ceilings and frescoes.

Get your afternoon sugar fix from Cukrkavalimonada

Snack on the deck

There is nothing like admiring Prague’s picturesque views from a deck! Take your family for a lunch or dinner cruise and get to know the city from aboard.

Admire art at the Wallenstein Riding School

Located in the early baroque Wallenstein palace, this gallery often features retrospective exhibitions of Czech artists, such as Max Švabinský or František Skála.

Explore the city’s house signs around Kampa

Independent Review

Aleksandra Slusar

The 3-storey setting of the Artist Hideout accommodates a large living area at the bottom and vertically expands into three secluded bedrooms with large king-size or queen-size beds. Large families or a group of friends will love this unusual setting, as they will be able to spend time in the large living areas or relax in private. Ideal for those looking to take in the cultural highlights of Prague, the Artist Hideout is conveniently located within short walking distances from the Prague Castle, St Vitus Cathedral and Charles Bridge.

Visiting this space was a visual experience, given its unconventional artistic design, combining historical features with contemporary artworks and boho styled décor. Some might find it too eclectic, but the seemingly contrasting styles freshen the interiors and ensure a memorable experience. Those travelling with young children should be aware of the steep steps connecting the different levels.
