Independent Review

Aleksandra Slusar

The two-bedroom Grand Home lies on the fourth floor of a historic building (1886) where influential artists of the Viennese Modern Age like architect Adolf Loos and writer Arthur Schnitzler have once lived. The staircase and the private rooms have been restored with great attention to detail to preserve as much of the original architecture as possible while at the same time offering state of the art facilities. Private rooms are accessed via a shared lounge.

The host has an amazing private library which may offer further inspiration for cultural and culinary adventures. The Grand Home lies in a lively neighbourhood close to the old university and city hall in a quiet side street just next to Votive Park. Sights, coffee houses, restaurants and bars, supermarkets, pharmacy and public transport are right around the corner.
