Afternoon drinks at the Karmelitermarkt

Local’s favourite for trendy weekend farmers markets, slow food corner and authentic bars. The Karmelitermarkt is unpretentious, local and perfect for a chilled afternoon.

Jogging by the Danube River

There is nothing better than to kick-start your day in a healthy way. Put on your running shoes and go for a morning run by the Danube riverside. Enjoy the colourful street art on the way.

Discover the Karmeliter district

The up-and-coming Karmeliter neighborhood is full of historical edifices, churches, antique shops, forgotten courtyards and cafés.

Lunch at Zimmer 37

Plenty of healthy and seasonal options based on the principles of the Five Element Cuisine. Sample Zimmer’s artisanal soups and veggie delights. Great taste goes hand in hand with wellbeing.

Get to know the Wiener Prater

The Prater is the oldest amusement park in the world. Walk through the main alley framed with restaurants and try some of the attractions from bowling alleys to cinemas and roller coasters.

Explore the skies at Urania

The Art Nouveau Urania built in 1910 by Max Fabiani as a public observatory, is still functional. Get to the top for fantastic panoramic views of the Viennese skyline.

Independent Review

Aleksandra Slusar

Personally, I enjoyed the simplicity, functionality and the welcoming vibe of this one-bedroom apartment, which feels truly homely. There is simply everything one needs for a short and mid-term stay. A flat-screen TV, washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker are just a few examples.

The host takes extra-care of the guests and prepares a little welcoming pack with some extras - a delightful way to start your stay in Vienna.
