Corporate accommodation is undergoing a structural shift. The convergence of Business Travel and Global Mobility, as longer travel assignments increasingly require serviced apartments to ensure greater wellbeing and comfort, while shorter project-based mobility demands speed and flexibility, is reshaping expectations around the corporate accommodation booking process. As programmes become more dynamic, connectivity has become critical not only in streamlining operations, but also in empowering employees to make their own accommodation choices within a compliant, preferred supply chain, with live availability and instant booking.

By the Numbers

The Challenge
For a leading global consulting firm, these trends were particularly relevant. With frequent short-term assignments and extended business travel needs, the organisation increasingly favoured serviced apartments over traditional hotels, benefitting from larger living spaces, kitchen facilities, and enhanced comfort and wellbeing. The firm leveraged a mature network of preferred properties built on long-standing supplier relationships and negotiated agreements.
However, as booking lead time decreased, due to market dynamics and expectations around speed and flexibility evolved, the client needed a way to connect this trusted inventory to a live, instantly bookable framework. The objective was clear: preserve established partner relationships and negotiated rate structures and preferred terms, while enabling employees to access real-time availability and confirm bookings immediately within a compliant, centralised system.

The AltoVita Solution
AltoVita has been focusing on this precise intersection of technology and corporate accommodation. A core aspect of our strategy is enabling corporate clients to work with properties they trust while giving their employees the ability to instantly book accommodation.
AltoVita integrated the client’s preferred inventory directly into a connected, multi-rate enabled ecosystem, allowing travellers and bookers to see negotiated rates and terms (including cancellation policies), confirm availability in real time, and complete bookings seamlessly. Today, 65% of our client’s preferred inventory is live and bookable, with London achieving full coverage at 100%.
Thanks to our Multi-Rate architecture (including in partnership with SiteMinder and multiple other content channels), hospitality partners can assign multi-rates, whilst also maintaining dynamic public pricing, giving them the flexibility to manage client-specific agreements without affecting broader availability. This approach ensures efficiency and transparency for both clients and partners, while supporting a consistent and reliable booking experience for employees.
Integrating Preferred Properties and Trusted Inventory
To begin with, we worked closely with the client to integrate their preferred UK inventory directly into AltoVita’s AltoCore platform. With minimal setup from the client’s end, their trusted partner network was onboarded and normalised, with negotiated rates stored in the system.
Preferred properties are clearly flagged with our signature “Preferred Property” badge, which streamlines sourcing and booking, accelerates the process, and ensures visibility of preferred inventory across our self-serve platform.

Advancing Connectivity Through Product Innovation
In order to deliver this, AltoVita’s product development team focused on features that enable true operational connectivity. A critical first step was ensuring that hospitality partners could upload and maintain their property portfolios in a structured and consistent way. To minimise administrative burden and accelerate onboarding, we introduced our AI Property Creation tool, allowing partners to add new properties within minutes by simply inputting their website link. This ensured that property portfolios remained accurate and up to date.
Multi-Rate Enablement Across Preferred Inventory
At the core of our connectivity model is the ability for partners to manage client-specific commercial agreements without disrupting broader distribution strategies. Our Multi-Rates integration, across multiple channel partners, now makes this possible by allowing hospitality partners to create multiple rate plans and cancellation policies. This is particularly important as it allows partners to assign negotiated rates to specific clients through our platform, while keeping their public rates visible for the rest of our users.
For our client, this means employees can view client-specific pricing alongside live availability, enabling instant bookings within their preferred partner network.
The result is a connected ecosystem spanning both our managed and self-serve booking flows, giving employees and travel managers consistent access to live, instantly bookable accommodation.

Employee-Centric Booking Within a Compliant Network
Employees can now view available accommodation in real time and book instantly, empowering them to make informed choices within a compliant, preferred supply network while eliminating delays and reducing administrative intervention. Travel managers benefit from centralised visibility, structured rate control, and improved compliance across the programme.
For property partners, the multi-rate structure preserves commercial flexibility while strengthening alignment with a key corporate client.
Connected Portfolio, Elevated by Proprietary Augmented Content
This connected ecosystem is further elevated by AltoVita’s proprietary quality-control framework. While we aggregate content from online channels, every listing is rigorously reviewed through a human-centric lens and proprietary Four-tier Quality Control process. We validate safety certifications, human rights policies, and sustainability standards to ensure alignment with each client’s vision and risk requirements, making it an integral part of our verified listing content. In addition, amenities-based filters can be configured per accommodation programme, allowing organisations to filter properties that reflect specific inclusion or accessibility criteria, ensuring alignment with DE&I policies. This unique approach enhances content integrity and guarantees best-in-class quality control across serviced accommodation programmes.
