The Challenge

The client’s global mobility programme required a solution that could support a variety of assignment types and lengths, and provide employees with access to high-quality, fully vetted temporary accommodation. Ensuring consistent quality standards across diverse markets and simplifying the search and booking process for employees were critical priorities.

The mobility team needed a streamlined, digital solution that allowed employees to independently explore a broad range of options while maintaining compliance with programme standards, ideally within a connected ecosystem that could enhance the overall relocation experience.

The Partnership:
AltoVita & Relocity 

The client uses Relocity, a talent mobility platform that gives teams centralised visibility, while offering employees a guided mobile experience for every move. Their programme runs on Relocity Guide, the platform's self-service tier, which gives employees city and neighbourhood guidance, task management, and access to a vetted marketplace of pre-negotiated vendor rates at direct cost.

AltoVita partnered with Relocity to build a custom integration within Guide, embedding its global corporate housing inventory directly into the app. The partnership brings together Relocity's guided relocation technology and dedicated human support with AltoVita's vetted global accommodation supply, so employees can find and book temporary housing without ever leaving the platform they already use for every other part of their move.  

The Solution

AltoVita integrated its global accommodation marketplace into Relocity Guide, giving employees extensive, direct access to a wide range of fully vetted properties. Through this integration, employees using Relocity Guide can explore over 7 million properties across more than 35,000 locations worldwide, spanning hotels, aparthotels, serviced apartments, and co-living solutions each including AltoVita’s enhanced content features. All properties have been rigorously reviewed through AltoVita’s proprietary 4-Tier Vetting Process, ensuring safety, security, and peace of mind.

Building the Integration

The integration was built through a direct API connection, embedding AltoVita’s global inventory and property content seamlessly within Relocity Guide. Employees can search properties via a map-based interface, while filters aligned with corporate policies ensure users see options that meet both their needs and company standards.

 

A Seamless Experience for Employees and Mobility Teams

 Through the integration with Relocity Guide, the client’s employees can now search, select, and book accommodation directly within one centralised app. Property discovery, booking, and communication are all managed within the same platform, empowering employees to choose the accommodation that best suits their needs without switching between multiple systems. Users have access to the app for 12 months, with interns typically accessing options 3–4 months before their relocation, providing ample time to browse and secure their accommodation. This streamlined experience also benefits mobility managers, who gain real-time programme visibility and policy-governed control through a single platform.

Looking Ahead

Following its successful launch, the integration has been rolled out across Relocity’s wider client base, extending access to AltoVita’s global accommodation inventory to additional mobility programmes accessing the Relocity Guide app. AltoVita’s corporate accommodation platform is designed to work within real enterprise mobility environments and can be implemented through RMC partners or directly with corporate clients, enabling organisations to deliver a more connected and scalable relocation experience.
