ESG Film Series: Bringing our Commitment to Life

At AltoVita, our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is rooted in the belief that responsible business practices drive long-term value for our clients, communities, and the planet. From measuring and reducing our carbon footprint to empowering women and fostering inclusive workplaces, we’re on a mission to lead positive change across corporate accommodation and beyond.

In May 2025, we launched our new ESG Film Series, featuring short interviews with key AltoVitians that spotlight how we bring ESG to life.

Here’s a recap:

Episode 1: Why Is ESG so Important to Us?

Featuring Alice Wilson, Chief of Staff, the first episode establishes why ESG is not just a policy for AltoVita. It is the lens through which we design products, form partnerships, and serve clients and communities. Alice outlines our key environmental and social targets for the coming years, emphasizing that every decision - large or small - must align with our ESG goals.

Episode 2: How Does ESG Shapes Our Brand Identity

In the second episode, our Head of Brand, Marlon Souza, explains how AltoVita’s brand values - Innovation, Integrity, and Impact - reflect our ESG commitments. Marlon illustrates how these principles guide marketing campaigns, product design, and client communications, ensuring that sustainability and social responsibility aren’t just buzzwords, but active drivers in how we tell our story.

Episode 3: What Does Giving Back Mean to Us?

In the third episode, Apurva Poddar, Senior Client Development Manager, shares the story behind our “Giving Back” policy. In celebration of International Women’s Month, in March 2025, AltoVita pledged to donate a portion of revenue to three charities aligning with our values as a female-founded, female-led company. We selected charities that empower women, supporting them with housing. With our global remit in mind, we chose one charity from each of the key regions we operate in: Refuge (EMEA), Smile Foundation (APAC), and Habitat for Humanity International (Americas).

We're proud to share that the donations were fulfilled in May- turning our pledge into real-world impact across three continents.

Additionally, every AltoVitian receives two paid “Giving Back Days” per year to volunteer with charities or community organizations. This empowers our team to support causes close to their hearts and give back to their individual communities.

Episode 4: How Are We Making a Measurable Impact on Sustainability Through our Products & Partnerships?

In honour of World Environment Day on June 6, 2025, we closed our series with the fourth episode focusing on our sustainability efforts. Account Executive, Nandor Ljubanovic talks about our EcoVadis Bronze Rating and showcases our EcoStats feature, designed to give clients transparent insights about the carbon footprint of their bookings.

Hospitality Growth Manager, Fatine El Khayyari, discusses how we closely collaborate with our global hospitality partners to push for sustainable practices, such as zero-plastic policies or eco-friendly amenities.

We’ve set ambitious emissions reduction targets. Formal approval by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in May 2025 reflects our commitment to align with the latest climate science and accelerate our net-zero journey.

Our ESG journey is dynamic. Each quarter brings new milestones and challenges, and with every step, we deepen our commitment to building a more sustainable, inclusive, and ethical future for the global corporate accommodation industry.
