Technology + People: The AltoVita Difference

AltoVita offers a multi-award winning enterprise software that brings professional, verified, and vetted corporate accommodation to the user, with a reduced booking process from the 24-48 hours common to legacy providers down to just 3 minutes.

The Technology

How do we do this? We built a proprietary Global Distribution Database (GDS) that uses an automated property generation system, along with seamless API connectivity to property management systems around the world, in addition to five more smart onboarding channels, to create a cloud-based bridge between the highly fragmented property distribution system and valuable corporate clients – Global 2000 companies, SMEs, and business travellers. This allows professional accommodations, including corporate housing, extended stay hotels and short-term rentals, to be more quickly sourced and booked by corporate clients, relocation management companies, mobile employees, and business travellers.

By enabling tech-driven solutions, supported by an experienced team, AltoVita increases operational efficiency for hospitality operators. AltoVita uses content integrations and a content generator to collect needed property information, saving valuable time for the property manager not having to do it themselves. Since the platform is powered by a connected GDS, property managers no longer have to bid or spend hours manually uploading and entering data for every housing enquiry, giving them time back to focus on what truly matters – the guest experience.

The GDS is integrated with AltoVita’s Business to Employee (B2E) enterprise client software, providing clients instant access to a diverse network of 1 million+ housing options worldwide with the ability to sort by desired amenities, pet friendliness, sustainability scores, and much more. And that integrated hospitality network is growing fast: AltoVita’s global footprint currently spans 165 countries. In the United States, this includes 380,000 units across 540 cities and all 50 States.

The People

Our customer success is thanks to our winning technology-first solution married with a human-centric approach, driven by our dedicated Reservation and Supply Chain team and our meticulous 4-Tier Quality Control standard. This quality standard ensures every housing option on the AltoVita platform is thoroughly verified and vetted to meet our rigorous requirements.

Duty of care and client satisfaction is at the heart of AltoVita, and the team goes above and beyond to meet clients’ needs. This includes everything from efficient onboarding to the AltoVita platform to helping vendors better convert, providing data to analyse trends and identify areas of opportunity, supporting with client management, and escalation management.

The team takes a global approach to support our hospitality operators and clients, with representatives based in North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC who bring unique local expertise. This also enables AltoVita to deliver dedicated 24/7/365 support and service.

At AltoVita we treat our hospitality operators like clients, and each December we celebrate our network with The Altos, the first industry awards dedicated solely to hospitality providers of corporate accommodation. Throughout the year the team publishes resources for hospitality operators, and hosts thought-provoking webinars exclusively for our supply chain. Past topics have included how to make distribution technology work for extended stays, managing flexible rentals across borders, and implementing diversity and inclusion policies.
