AltoVita named in the Business Travel Europe 2023 Hotlist

After a brilliant 2022, the start of 2023 has started with a bang.

AltoVita has been recognised within The 2023 Hotlist by Business Travel News Europe; an annual list that celebrates the people, organisations and developments that are driving industry change and influencing their peers. The list is described as the place to find “the industry’s finest advocates, innovators, and trends”.

Unlike previous years, this year’s Hotlist is not solely defined by the effects of Covid-19, but also highlights new companies and established players expanding their reach.

It features five influential individuals, six innovative organisations, and eight pivotal industry developments. AltoVita was selected as one of the innovative organisations. A range of factors that were considered by the editorial team include the growth of the company, innovation and influence.

AltoVita’s achievements that were highlighted in the list include:

  • Achieved 486% year-on-year growth in 2022, driven by expansion into the US and Asia-Pacific, and doubled its headcount.
  • Announced a $9.5 million Series A investment round to help grow from more than one million fully vetted accommodation options in 1,500 cities currently, to 2.5 million across 35,000 locations by the end of 2023.
  • Secured investment in a market where less than two per cent of VC funding went into female-led businesses.
  • Customers consist of 100 multinationals including Hewlett Packard, Google and US government agencies.

Vivi Cahyadi Himmel, CEO and co-founder of AltoVita commented: “We’re proud to be featured in this year’s BTN hotlist. Our achievements over the past year are a testament to the whole team’s commitment and tenacity and we’re excited for what 2023 has in store for the company.”
